Mr. Morris Cullen Flowers, age 79, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. Graveside services for Morris Cullen Flowers will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Paran Cemetery with Howell Skeen officiating. Burial will follow at Paran Cemetery under the direction of Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. Visitation will be held from 1-1:45 p.m. at Skeen Funeral Home prior to the service. He was born October 8, 1929 in Alabama. Mr. Flowers was a poultry producer in the agriculture industry. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hill Graves and Lora Mae Stewart Flowers and his 8 year old sister, Marin Ann Flowers. He is survived by numerous cousins. The family requests memorials to the Pike County Animal Shelter.
