Mrs. Alta Ruth Wilson formally of Brundidge passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 at Bullock County Hospital in Union Springs, AL. She was 86. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Alta Ruth Wilson was born May 1, 1926 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma daughter of the late Charlie Octavis Chilton and Ruth McCue Chilton. She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Richard Dean Shackelford of Brundidge. Survivors include a niece: Cheryl Pulliam; Loganville; GA; 2 nephews: Floyd and Michael Shackelford; and several nieces and nephews.
