Mrs. Viola E. Flowers of Lake City, FL. formally of Jack. AL. passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Health Center of Lake City in Lake City, FL. She was 91. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Jimmy Eddins and Rev. Doug Knight officiating. Burial will follow in Victoria Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. She was born December 30, 1921 in Columbus, GA to the late Alva Thomas Duffell and Ruby Lee Murphy Duffell. She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in- law: Jesse (Kathy) Flowers, Atlanta, GA; Bobby Joe (Merlene) Flowers, and Pete Flowers all of Jack, AL; daughter and son-in-law: Faye (Billy Joe) Payne, Lake City, FL; sisters: Frances Bush and Winell Schermer, both of Bonifay, FL; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Serving as pallbearers will be Jody, William, Chris, Jamie, John, Danny and Kevin.
