Mrs. Katherine McDonald Jinright of Newton passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was 55. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Cooper Stinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. She was born June 1, 1958 in Pike County, AL. to the late Clyde McDonald and Vallie Wilkes McDonald. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her adopted parents, McValder "Mack" and Mary Jinright, brothers, James C. "Jimmy" McDonald, Jr., David C. "Bubba" McDonald and Mickey McDonald and a step sister, Lucy Wright. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law: Darlene Jordan (Don), Banks; brother: Robert "Pee Wee" McDonald, Troy; sister-in-law: Kathryn McDonald, Troy, and numerous nieces and nephews
