Mrs. Eulelia Scarbrough Pope of Elba, AL. passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. She was 51. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Paul Nelson officiating. Interment will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. She was born May 16, 1962 in Troy, AL. to the late Roy Scarbrough and Essie Mack Scarbrough. She is survived by her husband: Paul Pope, Elba; daughter and son-in-law: Shannon Stephens (Doug), Glenwood; son: Kevin Pope, Elba; step daughters: Candy Pope and Christy Britt (Danny) all of Millbrook; grandchildren: Alan Brannon, Ian Brannon, Kaiden Pope, Caleb Pope, Dustin Pope and Hunter Britt; sister-in-law: Phala Gulledge; special nephew and his children: Brett Scarbrough and Alyssa and Dawson Scarbrough; special niece and her children: Sherry Bannin and Dayne and Riley Bannin; and several other nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Scarbrough, Chad Powell, Ryan Leverett, Robert Morgan, Eddie Stephens and Jamie Bannin.
