Ms. Pamela King Garmon, a resident of County Road 7, Newville, died early Saturday morning August 8, 2015 at the Henry County Nursing Home in Abbeville, AL. She was 55 years of age. Memorial services will be held at 1:30pm on Monday August 10, 2015 at Old Center United Methodist Church with Reverend Anita Brown officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00pm until service time in the church sanctuary. Ms. Garmon was born in Columbus, GA. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Thomas King and Sylvia "Dee" King. She lived most of her adult life in Douglasville, GA before relocating to Newville, AL in 2013.Ms. Garmon was a member of the Old Center United Methodist Church. She was employed by the Echo Country Store. Surviving relatives include her two sons, Jason Mathew Garmon (Nicole) and Joshua Thomas Garmon (Nikki), Her two grandsons, Jordin Garmon and Barrett Garmon, her loving Aunt Ann Golden Trawick, Mrs. Darlene Hughes and Mr. Keith Trawick along with many devoted friends especially, Faye Peake, Echo, AL, Rhonda Kirkland, Echo, AL, Alicia Snell, Echo, AL, and the Echo Country Store family and friends.
