Mr. Paul Douglas Pope of Glenwood, AL passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016 as a result of an auto accident. He was 67. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Burial will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. He was born June 1, 1949 to the late Louie Coe Pope and Ruby Esther Marshall Pope. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Eulelia Scarbrough Pope. He is survived by 3 daughters, Shannon Stephens (Doug), Glenwood, Candy Pope and Christy Britt (Danny) all of Millbrook, AL; son, Kevin Pope, Glenwood; grandchildren, Alan Brannon, Ian Brannon, Kaiden Pope, Caleb Pope, Dustin Pope, Hunter Pope and Levi Alan Pope; brothers, Eldon Pope (Cheri), Ralph Pope (Janet), Marvin Pope (Dianne) and Terry Pope; sister, Elizabeth Leverett; special nephew, Brett Scarbrough, and his children, Alyssa and Dawson Scarbrough; special niece, Sherry Bannin, and her children, Dayne and Riley Bannin and a niece, Phala Gulledge, Glenwood. Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Scarbrough, Chad Powell, Sherman Powell, Robert Morgan, Taylor Stephens and Jason Nunnlee
