Mrs. Carolyn Linzey Senn (Smith) of Troy, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at her residence. She was 73. Funeral services for Mrs. Linzey will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Kenneth Oaks officiating . Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Linzey was born April 10, 1943 in Coffee County, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samson Goffery Smith and Versie Lee Wambles Smith, a son, Danny Linzey, her late husband, Herman Linzey, a granddaughter, Brylee Hobbs, and a brother, Charles Smith. She is survived by her husband, J.C. Senn, Shellhorn; son, Jerry Senn (Jill), Opelika, daughters, Cindy Linzey Hart (Dave), Huntsville, Denise Linzey, Opelika, all formally of Troy, and Tracy Oglesby (Dale), Troy; grandchildren, Lindsey Hart (Matt), Brandon Gibson (Layce), Shay Douglas (Alistair), Kelsey Sanders, Amanda Senn, Blake Hobbs (Cheyenne), Drew Hobbs (Jordan), Alisha Connell (Joey), Justin Linzey (Meagan), Johnathon Linzey, Matthew Linzey, Jake Senn (Sam), Gracie Senn, and Dylan Oglesby; 16 great grandchildren; brother, sister, and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Gibson, Drew Hobbs, Blake Hobbs, Justin Linzey, Matt Linzey, Johnathon Linzey, Matt Durham, Joey Connell and Alistair Douglas. Memorials may be made to the Mt Moriah Cemetery Fund.
