Mr. Emanuel Everette McCurdy of Troy passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. he was 66. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy. He was born July 31, 1950 in Fort Benning, GA to the late Aaron McCurdy and Annie Laura Pittman McCurdy. Mr. McCurdy was a graduate of Barbour County High School in Clio. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by Tom McCurdy, cousin, friend and 2nd father. He is survived by his wife, Lisa McCurdy, Troy; children, their spouses and their children, Aaron McCurdy (Christina), and Krissy and Taylor McCurdy, all of Mt. Moriah; William McCurdy (Rachel) and Everette McCurdy all of Tuscaloosa; Jessica McCurdy, and Joseph, Savanna and Kenley, all of Troy; mother-in-law, Rebecca Fike, Montgomery; sister-in-laws, Shelia Reese (Jem), Highland Home; Connie Brooks (Gary), Mt Moriah; and Sandra O'Conner and her fiancé Charlie Uttley, Jack; special nephews, Aubrey Jordan and Korry Jordan, FL; several other nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his baby Milo.
