Mr. Jerry Huggins went to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Troy, AL. He was 77. He worked 43 years as a helicopter contractor at Fort Rucker. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.B and Edna Mae Huggins. He leaves behind a loving aunt, Mary Bassett, an aunt, Barbara Lee, Lawton OK, many cousins, and dear friends, William Coppage and Judy Chancey. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home 2 hours prior to service time. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Lee, Danny Lee, Fred Copeland and Paul Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be William Coppage, Gary Pruitt, Bobby Lee, Willie Harrell and Fred Stewart.
