Debra Hollis of Montgomery passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at her residence. She was 66. Debra was born September 20, 1950 to the late Will Tom Hollis and Nell Fuller Hollis. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Alabama. She served in the DA's office in Jefferson and Dallas counties and also had a private law practice in Montgomery and she taught business law and constitutional law at AUM. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, William Terry Hollis and a brother-in-law, Dennis James Magee. She is survived by two sisters, Bethany Magee and Dixie Hollis Thomas (Allen) all of Troy; brother, Thomas Andrew Hollis (Lisa) Irmo, S.C.; nephews, Mathew Magee, Michael Magee, and Tommy Hollis (Jennifer) all of Troy; and Drew Hollis, New Orleans, LA; a niece, Hope Hollis, Irmo, S.C. and her canine and feline babies, Fiona and JC "Just Cat" Arrangements are pending and will be announced by Skeen Funeral Home of Troy.
