Mrs. Ellen Inez Griffin of Troy passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was 91. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Curtis Faulkner and Pastor Mack Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Griffin was born November 30, 1926 in Perry, GA to the late Stonie Sizemore and Florence Pope Sizemore. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Griffin, son, Kenny Griffin and a son-in-law, Ralph Smith. She is survived by her son, Danny Griffin (Pam), Troy; daughters, Linda Smith, Panama City Beach, FL. and Sheila Hyatt (Richard), Destin, FL; 9 grandchildren, Jason Black (Stacie), Stonie Griffin (Symantha), Shelley Monsees (James), Craig Griffin, Sanford Parker, Stuart Brown, Josie Griffin (Bryant), Rodney Griffin and Colton Griffin; 8 great grandchildren, Bailey and Miranda Black, McKenzie and Donovan Monsees, Payne and Phenix Griffin and Griffin and Ivey Webb. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Black, Stonie Griffin, Craig Griffin, Stuart Brown, Payne Griffin, Justin Fralick, James Monsees and Bryant Webb.
