Mrs. Clyde Osteen, age 75, of 518 2nd Avenue, Troy, Alabama died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at her residence. Graveside services for Mrs. Clyde Osteen will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2009 at Union Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Ernest Green officiating. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy will be directing. Visitation for Mrs. Osteen will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Mrs. Osteen was born August 14, 1934 in Pike County, Alabama. She was a clerk in the retail industry. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Jones and Lura Jones Taylor and her husband, Gaston Osteen. Mrs. Osteen is survived by 3 daughters: Barbara Holmes, Troy, AL; Carolyn Allen, Selma, California; Elaine Thornell, Clovis, California; 4 grandchildren: Matt Holmes, Troy, AL; Denae McIntosh and Stephanie Nelson, both of Clovis, California; Brian Thornell, Los Angeles, California; 4 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Betty Sunday, Billie Gibson and Dorothy Cobb all of Troy, AL; a very special family: David, Kathy and Andrea Fullerton, all of Atlanta, Georgia; and all other family and friends. Pallbearers are Bart Gibson, Richard Ray, Darrin Jordan, Greg Cobb, Robert Cobb and Billy Cobb. The family requests memorials to Hospice Advantage, Troy, AL.
