H. Gilbert Erdoesy of Troy passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. He was 91. Graveside services for H. Gilbert Erdoesy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ray Wren officiating, Full Military Honors will be conducted by Charlie’s Angels, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. He was born January 21, 1921 in Mineola, New York, son of the late Frank Erdoesy and Alice Cross Erdoesy. He is survived by his wife: Charlene Erdoesy, Troy; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: John F. (Cathy) Erdoesy, West Des Moines, IA; and Glenn W. (Ann) Erdoesy, Daytona Beach, FL; daughter: Eleanor L. Beasley, Clearwater, FL; grandchildren: Holly (Robin) Heath, Albany, GA; Scott, Tyler and Grace Erdoesy; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Ryan Heath.
