Mrs. Mary Beth Jacobs, 75, of Montgomery, AL, formally of Glenwood, AL. passed away Saturday July 14, 2012 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Beth Jacobs will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Glenwood Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dan Marler officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery in Glenwood with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Jacobs was born March 1, 1937 in Union Springs AL. daughter of the late John Robert and Pinkie Ruth Finley Corley. She was a sewing machine operator in the textile industry for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband H. J. Jacobs who died February 5, 2006 and a son Danny Jacobs who died February 21, 2005. She is survived by a daughter and husband: Gail and Johnnie Bruce of Montgomery, AL; stepson Johnnie Bruce, Andalusia, AL; granddaughter Dixie Bruce, Montgomery, AL; grandson J. J. Bruce, Millbrook, AL; six great grandchildren, brothers and sister-in-law: John Robert Corley Jr., Victoria, AL; David and Luvenia Corley, Brundidge, AL; and Darrel Corley, Jack, AL; sisters and brothers-in-laws: Shirley and Frank Reeder, Webb, AL; Linda and David Franklin, Enterprise, AL; and a sister-in-law: Mattie Pearl Mack, Kinston, AL.
