Tony Max Faulkner of Troy passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. He was 46. Funeral services for Tony Faulkner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W.O. Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. He was born August 11, 1966 in Pike County, AL. to Roy Max Faulkner and Mary Exa Smith Faulkner. He loved to laugh, enjoyed life and was a diehard Alabama fan. He was a wonderful father and a wonderful husband who loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Max Faulkner, and his grandparents, Bob and Mavis Faulkner and Grady and Olene Smith. He is survived by his mother; Mary Faulkner, Troy; wife Crystie Faulkner, Troy; children: Shae Faulkner and Justin Hendrix, Taylor Faulkner Sneed (Jeremey), and Landon Faulkner, all of Troy; grandson: Nathaniel Hendrix, Troy; brother and sister-in-law: Teddy Faulkner (Charlene), Luverne; sister and brother-in-law: Marsha Senn (Phillip), Troy; aunts: Brenda Baker (James), Troy; Betty Mauldin, Brundidge; Shirley Brabham, Troy; Geraldine Grissett, Troy; and Margaret Nicholson, Brundidge; uncle: Olen Smith (Kate), Phenix City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Duncan, Phillip Moore, Jeremey Sneed, Jason Hendrix, Ed Mitchell, Jonathan Tillery, David Mitchell, Jody Griggs and Ben Prichett. Honorary pallbearers will be Bunkie Little, Marty Mauldin and David McCarroll. Memorials may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation or the American Lung Association.
