Mrs. Josephine F. Whitcomb of Brundidge, AL. passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her residence. She was 79. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Skeen Funeral Home of Troy. She was born March 2, 1935 in Vermont to the late Wilfred Bernard Laclair and Florence Delisle Laclair. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald M. Whitcomb, Sr., a son, Ronald M. Whitcomb, Jr., and two brothers, Isadore Laclair and Bill Laclair. She is survived by her children; Mary Wade and Marsha Whitcomb, both of Brundidge; Dana Whitcomb (Brenda), Smyrna, TN; Judy Robbins (Jerry), Burleyson, TX; Doreen Hand, Brundidge; Ruth Craig, Denver, CO; Patrick Whitcomb, Blanchard, OK; Lloyd Whitcomb (Michelle), Waveland, MS; and Debra Whitcomb, Tuscaloosa, AL; 27 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, a sister, Georgiana Chaffee, Barton, VT; and a brother, Dalton Laclair, Mansfield Center, CT.
