Mr. William Odell "Buddy" Watson of Brundidge, AL, formally of Harriman, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his residence. He was 74. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Brother Billy Watson and Rev. Roger Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Hurricane United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartford, AL with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Watson was born November 25, 1940 in Polk County, FL son of the late Birchus Odell and Miriam Lucille Norris Watson. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Lucille Reynolds and a grandchild, Joshua Watson. He is survived by his sons: Billy (Cindy) Watson, Samson, AL; Jimmy Watson, Lakeland, FL; and Bobby (Debbie) Watson, Phoenix, AZ; daughters: Katherine (William) Foster, Brundidge; Melissa Cadreact, Georgiana, AL; and Beverly (Jeff) Humphries, Lakeland, FL; 17 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister: Rachel (Coy) Vineyard, Blaine, TN; brother-in-law: Joe Reynolds, Oakdale, TN; a special friend: Barbara Golliher, Rockwood, TN; many special nieces and nephews.
