Mrs. Martha Sue Harris Pozarlik, 65, of Ansonia, CT (formally of Troy) peacefully entered into eternal rest on September 21, 2015, at Griffin Hospital in CT., with her loving husband by her side. She was the beloved wife of Joseph S. Pozarlik. Graveside services will be held at 2:15 pm Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Eulogy given by John Davis, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. Martha Sue was born in Troy, AL on April 10, 1950, daughter of the late Walter T. “Sam” and Martha Helen Parham Harris. She was a security guard at Huntington College until moving to Ansonia, CT. 24 years ago. Martha Sue loved quilting and flower gardening. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Thomas “Bubba” McLeod of Deatsville, AL, Joseph M. Pozarlik (Marta) of Fairfield, CT. and Allen Pozarlik (Bonnie) of Ansonia, a daughter, Patricia “Sissy” Randle (Lennie) of Deatsville, AL, brothers, Thomas Harris, Harry Harris, and Glen Harris of AL, David Harris of TX and Sam Harris of NC, a sister, Helen Jane Davis of AL, 6 grandchildren, a great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.
