Mr. Joe Harold Ross of Troy passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at Troy Health and Rehab. He was 84. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2017 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Paul Broom officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Connell Road, with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Ross was born July 3, 1932 in Pike County, AL to the late John Mark Ross and Eunice Ivey Ross. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Inez Ross, Troy; children, Patty Ross, Troy, AL, Debbie Jenkins (Paul), Harvest, AL, and Cindy Dauphinais (Mark), Harvest, AL; grandchildren, Brandon Dauphinais (Amy) and Samantha Jenkins; great grandchildren, Roland Dauphinais and Mercy Dauphinais; special friends, Scott and Jeannie Hussey; and 3 sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Service as pallbearers will be Brandon Dauphinais, Bruce Umbehagen, Willie Ivey, Henry Hudley, Marc Ross and Chris Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Antioch Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Compassus Hospice in Troy.
