Mrs. Barbara Holmes of Troy passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. She was 60. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Chaplain Earnest Green officiating. Mrs. Holmes was born September 20, 1956 in Troy, AL to the late Gaston Osteen and Clyde Jones Osteen. She was a nurse and worked at Troy Regional Medical Center for 30 years touching many lives. She is survived by her husband, Ernie Holmes, Troy; son, Matt Holmes, Troy; sisters, Carolyn Allen (Lloyd) and Elaine Thornwell, all of CA.
