Obituary for George K. Botts

George K. Botts a resident of Brundidge, AL passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his residence. He was 78. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev, Ken Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in the Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Mr. Botts was born November 29, 1939 to the late Joshua Clyde Botts and Florence Matilda Green Botts. He is survived by his wife, Frances Botts, Brundidge; daughters, Kay Edmonds, Phenix City, AL; Kayla Adams (Scott), Crestview, FL. Monica Morgan (Josh), Salem, AL, Inga Qualls (Allen) Troy, AL; sons, Stanley Richards (Charlotte), Jack, AL, and Atlas Green (Rose), Brundidge; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Braxton, Columbus, GA and Mae Hand, Troy; and his side kick, Bubba. The family expresses a special thanks to Dr. Pearlstein and the special care provided by Alacare Hospice of Troy.
