Obituary for Lena Frances Carswell

Lena Frances Carswell of Brundidge, AL passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was 87. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Belser Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. She was born December 15, 1930 in Pike County to the late James Woodward Peacock and Fannie Johnson Peacock. She is survived by a daughter, Linda C. Parker (Sam T. Moore), Sedan, KS; grandsons, Dalton L. Parker (Stana), Arlington, KS, Davey A. Parker, Kingmon, KS, Dominic M.A. Parker (Jennifer), Victoria, AL and Preston Fricks (Jancey), Bowling, OK; granddaughter, Desiree L. Parker, Tarentum, AL; great grandchildren, Adellen Grace Parker, Aria Alfaro, James Alfaro, Alice Senn and Ryder Fricks; step daughters, Betty Connor (Gene), Montgomery, AL and Margie Senn (Jerry), Brundidge, AL; step grandchildren, Terri Connor, Mark Connor (Donna), Anita Ellis (Jeff), Connie Dunn (Ricky), Shirley Little (Greg) and Billy Carswell; step grandchildren, Michael Connor (Lindsey), Cori Lane (Jonathan), Brock Ellis, Kimberly Ellis, Hayden Wilson, Sawyer Dunn, Blake Little (Christin) and Kevin Little; step great-great grandchildren, Ever Wilson, Clara, Saban, Jordan and Charlsie Little; niece, Betty Marsh (Charles), Temple, GA; cousin, Richard L. Till, Dothan, AL and many other nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Dominic Parker, Davey Parker, Preston Fricks, Blake Little, Kevin Little and Ricky Marsh.
