Mrs. Lillian Whitehead Johnson of Brundidge, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Troy Regional Medical Center. She was 63. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Pastor Wilburn Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. She was born April 21, 1955, in Pike County, AL, to the late Lawson Whitehead and Louise Hartley Whitehead. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Benny Johnson, Brundidge, AL; sons: Henry Whitehead, Springhill, AL, and Joseph Whitehead (Michele), Brundidge; grandchildren: Savana Lustch, Madison Whitehead, Logan Whitehead and Tristan Whitehead; brothers: Terry Whitehead (Carolyn), Columbus, GA, and Johnny Whitehead (Lisa), Springhill; sisters: Ruby Rushing, Marjorie Golden (Alan), both of Brundidge, and Sharon Kirkland (Wilburn), Springhill; half sisters: Verlon Whitehead, Dothan, AL, and Alice Whitehead, Enterprise, AL; sisters-in-law: Ruby Lee (Kenny), Ruth Lee (Kenny) and Helen Dyer (Wally); several nieces and nephews.
