Charlie Monroe Tillery of Banks, AL, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019, at his residence. He was 60. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. He was born February 27, 1959, in Glenwood, AL, to the late Thomas Tillery and Winnie Mulkey Tillery. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers: A.C. Tillery, Wilmer Tillery, Thomas Junior Tillery, and Ray Tillery. He is survived by a special friend, Christy Anderson, Banks, AL; children: Jason Tillery (Brandi), Shady Grove, AL, Jonathan Tillery (Lacey), Banks, AL, Jada McDonald (Danny), Henderson, AL, and Jeremy Senn, Goshen, AL; 11 grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters: Linda King, Andalusia, Al, Shirley Kelley (Wayne), Bluff Springs, AL, Herman Tillery, Goshen, AL, Dewey Tillery, Brundidge, AL.
