Mr. Frederick R. Smith of Daleville, AL, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Troy Regional Medical Center in Troy. He was 80. Mr. Smith will be cremated as per his wishes with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Smith was born December 15, 1938, in Weedsport, NY, to the late Floyd Smith and Gladys Rathbun Smith. He started a logging business in New York and after moving to Daleville, AL he worked construction in Ariton, AL for many years. Mr. Smith also served our country in The U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Coleen Smith, Daleville, AL; sons Deric Guy, Ft. Benning, GA, and Bradley Smith, Valparaiso, FL; daughters: Polly Bishop, Garland, TX, Carrie Rodriguez, Daleville, and Tammy La Framboise, Union Springs, NY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren
