Mr. Jack Knighten of Grady, AL, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019, at his residence. He was 86. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Deese officiating, Skeen Funeral Home of Tory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until service time at Community Baptist Church. Mr. Knighten was born February 19, 1933 in Grady, AL to the late John Lee Knighten and Frances Thontson Knighten. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Little Knighten; children: Jackie Kraft, Tim Knighten, and Judy Walters; grandchildren: Ashley and Jeffrey; and a great grandchild, Landon. Survivors include his children; Terri Houlton and Jeff Knighten; grandchildren: Jessica, Leslie, Robby, Alisha, Timmy, Arianna, Cassie, Jacob, Maddie, Lisa, Paul, Justin and Kelly; great grandchildren: Jackson, Eli, Owen, Layton, Olivia, Nathan, Cody, Liam, Pheanix, M.J, Levi, Nicholas, Sophia, Kailei and Jurni; sister, Zollie McDaniel, Huntsville, AL; brothers-in-law: William (Buster) Little, Jake Little and Hugh (Bunky) Little both of Troy.
