Mr. Wade Ray Stinson of Jack, AL passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. He was 62. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. Mack King and Brother Dale Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. He was born September 14, 1957 in Troy, AL. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willie and Calvin Stinson and Joel and Julia Knotts; uncles: Mervin Stinson, Wallace Knotts, Curtis Knotts, Lamar Knotts, J.P. Knotts, and Douglas Knotts; aunts: Frances Boutwell, Dorris Whitehead and Dorothy. He is survived by his parents: Ray and Nellie Stinson, Jack, AL; son: Vlad Stinson, Jack; aunts and uncles: Shirley and Hayward Legg, Jerry and Melinda Stinson, all of Jack; cousins: Lisa and Ralph Johnson, Zachary and Seth Legg, all of Jack; Johnny and Lisa Knotts, Brundidge; Jimmy and Janet Whitehead, Millbrook; Gail Wynn, Lance Jones, Lee Jones, and Summer Jones all of Phenix City; special friends: Kathy Allen, Troy and Fred Knighten. Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Legg, Seth Legg, Hayward Legg, Jerry Stinson, Johnny Knotts and Ralph Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Clint Allen and Jimmy Whitehead.
