Mrs. Julanne B. Veasey of the Orion Community died Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at her residence. She was 69 years old. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel in Troy with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Skeen Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until service time. She was born August 24, 1950 to the late Malmer R. Browder and Jule Bradley Browder. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Carter Veasey, son, James P. "Jimbo" Veasey, and a brother, James Arden Browder. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Alice Veasey, Dothan; step daughter, Amanda Ward, Brundidge; step son, Michael Veasey, Montgomery; nephew, Bradley Browder, Andalusia; nieces, Tiffany Lawrence, Ozark and Jamie Browder, Mobile.

A memorial service will also be held for Julanne Veasey at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Orion Baptist Church.
