Joel Reese Adamson of Troy passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Troy Regional Medical Center. He was 66. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy is assisting the family of Joel Adamson with a simple cremation. He was born July 8, 1954 in Georgia to Reese Adamson and Jewell Culps Adamson. He was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, Val Brownlow He is survived by his wife, Valarie Kelly Adamson, Troy; mother, Jewell Adamson, Rex, GA; children, Justin Adamson (Brandi), Hogansville, GA, and Courtney Widener (Doug), Canton, GA; two grandchildren, Madigan Widener and Colt Widener, both of Canton, GA; brothers, Dennis Adamson, Allan Adamson, both of Rex, GA, David Adamson, Jackson, GA; sister, Susan Jackson, Rex, GA.
