Bettye Brooks of Troy, AL passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at her residence. She was 64. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Shirley officiating. Inurnment will follow at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Bettye was born May 18, 1956 in Troy, AL. to the late Boyd Brooks and Frances Morgan Brooks. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Dunn, Troy, AL, and several cousins.
