Obituary for Edna Faye Pittman
Mrs. Edna Faye Pittman, of Troy, died Thursday, May 13, 2021 at her residence. She was 75 years old.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Shellhorn, AL with Bro. Jack Walters officiating and eulogy by Brenda Hughes. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Pittman was born Oct. 9, 1945, the daughter of the late Roy Oscar Norris and Edna Maxine Knight Norris. Mrs. Pittman was involved with the American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed in the textile industry for over 30 years. She enjoyed and loved her family and friends. She was married to Julius Pittman for 58 years. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: James Durward Norris; 2 sisters: Connie Norris and Linda Kelly; 2 grandchildren: Anna and Clarksen Pittman.
Survivors include husband: Julius Pittman, Troy, AL; son: Julius (Christy) Pittman, Troy, AL; granddaughter: Carys Pittman, Troy, AL; siblings: Aaron Norris, Fairhope, AL, Jackie Beatrice Corley, Troy, AL, Josephine Norris, Goshen, AL, Dianne Chance, Troy, AL, Royce Norris, Bartow, FL, Patricia Ann Gilbert, Troy, AL, Grady Ray Norris, Troy, AL, Gary Lynn Norris, Banks, AL; several nieces and nephews.
