Mrs. Jessie A. Brown of Brundidge, AL passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her residence. She was 86. Graveside services for Mrs. Jessie A. Brown will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Lee Windham and Pastor Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mrs. Brown was born December 30, 1935 in Pahokee, FL. to the late Albert J. Craton and Rosada Martin Craton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Donald Brown, Sr., 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Joseph D. Brown, Jr. (Nadine), Union Springs, AL, daughters, Sharon Morris (Doug), Atlanta, GA, and Dana Thomas (Kendall), Brundidge; grandson, Bryan Stone (Whitney), granddaughters, Shana Windham (Chance) and Kristie Brown; 9 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a sister, Charlotte Burkey, Palm City, FL.
