Mr. Fox Clayton Chance of Doniphan, MO, formally of Troy, passed away Tuesday June 21, 2022, in his home in Doniphan. He was 71 years old. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Earnest Green officiating and eulogy will be by the family. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Springhill Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Skeen Funeral Home. He was born February 23, 1951, in Pike County, AL to the late William Wallace Chance and Ruby Cleone Senn Chance. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, William Herman Chance and a grandson, Christopher William Chance and a great granddaughter, Khloe Isabelle Shiver.. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Jean Chance, daughter and son-in-law, Dawn McClintock (Danny), son and daughter-in-law, Mathew Chance (Gwyn), daughter, Carrie Anita Shelton (Chris Tipton), daughter, Robin Chance, son, Eric Lee Chance, step-daughter, Christina Beaford and adopted daughter (caretaker) Shannon Wells; grandchildren: Katherine Shiver, Amber Ruiz (Kevin), Rachel Shelton, Taylor Shelton, Eric Toby James Chance, Tristan Andrews and Logan Andrews; great-grandchildren Kaden Baker, Kaisley Shiver, Callie Ruiz, Kynlee Shiver, sister and brother-in-law Jan Brown (Donald), sister-in-law Diana Chance and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Serving as pallbearers Matt Chance, Eric Chance, Toby Chance, Michael Keener, Jay Brown, Chris Tipton.
