Mrs. Shirley Virginia McCrummen of Troy, AL, formally of Ocoee, Fl, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the home of her daughter, Sharon McCrummen Griffin, in Troy. She was 78. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. (EST) Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Winter Garden Cemetery in Winter Garden, FL. with Pastor Wayne Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Winter Garden Cemetery. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy is in charge of local arrangements. Mrs. McCrummen was born November 6, 1944 in Coffee County, AL to the late Raymond Calhoun and Lena Eldridge Owens. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee McCrummen, Sr., sons, Bobby Lee McCrummen, Jr., and Ricky McCrummen, brothers, Johnny Calhoun and Ray Calhoun. She was always there for her family and friends that were in need. She had a very generous heart and anyone that knew her knew that. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon McCrummen Griffin (Tony), Troy; sisters, Mable Bullington, Clarcona, FL. and May Holman, Ocala, FL; brothers, David Calhoun (Sandra), Opp, AL. and Thomas Calhoun, Opp, AL; grandchildren, Jennifer Kidd (Donald), Jack, AL. Tommy Brown (Tina), Apopka, FL, Travis Brown (Lindy), Ocoee, FL., Marie McCrummen, Ocoee, Fl., Bobby Lee McCrummen III, Troy, and Jonathan McCrummen, Troy; daughter-in-law, Barbara McCrummen, Troy; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
