Mrs. Betty Bryant a resident of Jack, AL passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at her residence. She was 83. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Jack Assembly of God Church with Rev. Donnie Dunn and Chaplain Adam Carlee officiating. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bryant was born June 29, 1939 in Louisville, AL, to the late Henry Thomas Sheppard and Virginia Ann Garrett Sheppard. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Bryant and her son, Stephen Stewart, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Pam McWaters (Johnny), Jack; grandsons, Jonathan McWaters (Joell) Jack, Curtis McWaters (Wendy), Enterprise, and Stephen Stewart, Jr. (Amanda), Troy; great grandson, Lane McWaters, Samson; brother, Gary Sheppard (Marty); sisters, Christine Burton (Ted), Troy, Vernie Fortune (Billy), Ariton, and Joyce Swindall, Troy; numerous nieces and nephews.
