Kathryn was born January 20, 1960 in Phenix City, AL to the late Bennie Daniel and Leona Session Daniel. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her significant other Danny Gerald Spivey and a son Mason R. McDonald. Kathryn “Nana” loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She would always worry about everyone, helped when she could; she loved and wanted nothing more than her children and grandchildren to be happy. She was very strong willed and went through many medical obstacles that she overcame in her lifetime. In her younger days she was very creative, loved writing, and arts and crafts. She loved her dog digger like he was her child. Although she will be missed we know she is no longer in pain and we are comforted with her passing on the love of her life, Danny Spivey’s birthday. We know they reunited in heaven and are celebrating. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne “Nikki” Daniels and Kimberly H. Bowers (Brent); sons, Daniel C. McDonald. (Jada), Jason M. McDonald and Christopher “Chris” J. McDonald; grandsons, Logyn, Brycen, Brantlee, Brantcen McDonald, and Jordan Mohan; granddaughters, Keyona Dozier, and Eva Marie Bowers; brother, Bennie Ray Daniel; sister, Sandy Tyer; and Kathryn’s “furbaby” Digger.
