Michael Timothy "Mike” Hughes of Troy passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. He was 62. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dale County, AL (Rocky Head) with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Burial will follow with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mike was born September 17, 1960, in Georgia to the late Harold Hughes and Sammie Dale Faircloth Hughes. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Hughes Senn, in addition to his parents. He is survived by his son Shawn Hughes (Veronica); grandchildren Olivia Grace Hughes and Hunter Hughes; brothers Danny Hughes and Rex Hughes (Rhonda); a cousin Lynn Luckenbaugh; a special aunt Sue Tindol. All previously listed survivors reside in Jack, AL. Mr. Mike Hughes is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nephews, and cousins as well.
