Mrs. Judy Elaine Ward passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan. She was 63. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Cooper and Rev. Rick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy. The family will also receive friends Wednesday at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. She was born October 4, 1953 in Dale County, AL daughter of the late Elvin Allen and Geraldine White Allen. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ward, brothers, Stevie Allen and Ronnie Allen and a great nephew, Stevie Hunter Allen. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Sasser (Brian), New Brockton; sister, Anita Green (Donald), Troy; sisters-in-law, Dretta Allen, Elba and Lynn Allen, FL; a special aunt, Jane White, Jack; granddaughter, Madison Bedsole, New Brockton; grandson, Mason Bedsole, New Brockton; great granddaughter, Ashtynn Brook Bedsole, New Brockton; nephew, Kevin Allen (Jeanie), Elba; nieces, Chris Kirkland (Joel), Elba, Sabrina Toole and Brittany Allen both of FL; and Chloe, her beloved companion terrier. Serving as active pallbearers will be Cliff Hennon, Kevin Killingsworth, Kevin Allen, Kevin Sheets, Jason Sasser, Jim White and Mickey Napper. Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Bedsole, Brian Sasser, Shaw Kirkland and Joel Kirkland.
